I think she could lean a bit more forward when she punches.
I based the punch animation on both luigi in ssbm and chi chi in dragon ball and in those examples I barely see them leaning forwards.
I get what you're going for, but you can sometimes stray from the reference to add a little exaggeration.
I'd rather not exagerate on the punch since I want it to be simple and quick but I'll keep it in mind with stronger attacks.
After making sprites of chi chi for a long while I'm in the mood for something else than dbz, like sonic. So I made some edits of blaze the cat to make this idle animation based on sonic rush.
Blaze is throwing a soll emerald here and it's based on the animation from sonic rush.
Wait how is it spinning to the side if she's simply throwing it upward ?
I intended to spin the emerald upwards, I changed it somewhat so I hope it's better now.
Wow my friend these look amazing! Hope to see more may I ask I know they are all custom but did you need a skeleton to help with poses? I know I sometimes need them to help get the pose looking good but I make sure the sprite I made is 100% mine.
thank you. I don't use a skeleton but I always use references when I make poses and animations. Before I start with the dress I first make the legs and I make the arms and legs like tubes.
Your welcome my friend. A reference does indeed help though it also helps when you have the perfect angle for refs. A sidescrolling style like yours much closer to the source my 3/4 view stuff well that angle is a cheat in perspective so some things don't work right from that angle IRL. XD
I actually tried a kind of similar perspective like your icon a while ago and boy oh boy was it confusing for me.
