Give a shout to Michael Azzi for allowing me to use this.

Pixel-Logic will not be your typical step by step tutorial.

Instead, it will teach you techniques by studying video-game graphics from the past 30 years. The tutorials will cover pixel art from start to finish, with topics ranging from creating initial line art, to fully animating sprites. These tutorials will not be focusing on my own personal methods; instead they will combining past examples with modern application! Once the project is complete, it will be accessible to everyone. Simple. Why pay for knowledge? Learning is a right and should be free for everyone!

I read these and I honestly don't want them to end! This is just a fountain of valuable information, and I love how it's worded and shown in a different way to help the layman understand better. I'm sure these take a lot of time and energy, but I do hope you still plan on releasing he next one! That is, if there will be a next one.

Edit: I just went over the first chapter again, and I noticed something.
Jaggies are usually, but not ALWAYS bad. With larger pixel art, it can actually make a curve appear more organic and less angular. There's a certain technique you have to use, though. You have to make sure that the pixels above and below the jag (if we're speaking vertical) are no more than a pixel longer (horizontally longer). A lot of the time the jag can be fixed with some well-placed AA, anyway. I have a lot of examples of these since it's a technique I use pretty frequently; not at a computer now, but will post some zoomed in and zoomed out examples in a few hours.

Oh, yeah, I guess you do cover that in the AA section. Nevermind, hahah. Might that be at least worthy of a mention in the first chapter, though?
